Tact switches are designed with a small footprint suited for mounting onto the surface of printed circuit boards (PCB).How does a tactile switch work? They are on/off electronic switches that are turn on only when a certain amount of pressure is applied. The circuit is broken when tactile switch button is released and the pressure has been taken off.
